I am an independent trainer and consultant in youth work.  I’m currently the Quality Improvement Coordinator for the Nashville After School Alliance in Tennessee.  I oversee the administration of the Youth Program Quality Assessment process for 45 sites as well as coordinating and delivering professional training in Positive Youth Development, Youth Engagement, Advancing Youth Development, Quality Supervision, Youth Interaction and more.  I was an integral part of the development of this program 7 years ago.

I’m also a training consultant and developer for the Oasis Center. I design and help with training for youth workers in group homes across the state of TN.  I also do new staff training for Oasis.

I am a field consultant and trainer for the Center of Youth Program Quality, traveling across the country to teach youth workers how to assess youth programs using the Youth Program Quality Assessment tool.

Prior to 2010, I was Director of Training at the Oasis Center in Nashville TN. During my 12 years at the Oasis Center I coordinated the volunteer and intern programs, managed the Safe Place program, and developed, presented and coordinated staff and volunteer training.  I was also an adjunct psychology teacher at the Kaplan Institute. I am from Baltimore, MD and has Masters degrees in both Education and Social Work.  Currently I reside in Raleigh NC.
